Agora BCN is an intercultural space for studying and living together, a new concept in accommodation for young university students, teachers and researchers. Inaugurated in June 2006, it has 12,000 sqm of installations, 220 rooms, capacity for 360 residents and a wide selection of services and activities, aimed at the university community. Its style can be defined as modern and functional, a warm welcoming atmosphere, full of colour. Bright open spaces in the communal areas promote interaction. Comfort and quality fittings are the outstanding aspects of the rooms, designed for both relaxation and study. Wide, and with natural light, they include a bathroom, work area and internet connection. Adapted rooms are available for students with special requirements, and places are reserved for teachers and researchers. A natural environment and first class installations are the perfect setting in which to achieve the hotel’s main objective, to develop a living space whose intellectual and intercultural atmosphere will promote study and training. The hotel also has the following extra amenities: 24hr reception, heating, parking is on request, vending machines, buffet breakfast, Internet access, terrace, garden, and a social room with TV and billiards. Please note that housekeeping for the rooms will be done once a week. There is a garden area, football field and a basketball court.
